Worksmart Technology is a Managed Services Specialist Partner and Trading Specialist Partner for Mitel, which means we are experienced and qualified to offer our own Mitel hosted services and specialist trading solutions.
Established in 1991, Viatel has operations in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and Switzerland and 2.5 billion dollar pan-European network. In the UK Viatel has over 100 points of presence, approximately 450km of its own fibre and five highly secure data centres in Egham, Bracknell, Reading and two in London.
Unhindered by legacy infrastructure or revenue streams, Viatel is able to take advantage of the latest technology to provide innovative solutions that give customers a flexible and reliable, high-speed next generation network.
The Viatel infrastructure forms the backbone of the Worksmart Technology managed communications services and integrates seamlessly with the hardware and applications that we deploy.
Part of the BT Group, Openreach was launched in January 2006 to provide installation and maintenance services on behalf of the UK’s Communications Providers. They are responsible for the nation’s local access network or ‘first mile’ – the place where millions of calls, web searches and business deals are started each day.
Openreach services, support and maintain the wiring, fibres and connections which link millions of homes and businesses in Great Britain to Communications Providers’ networks.
Worksmart Technology utilises the expertise of Openreach in the provisioning of its communications services.
O2 was launched on 1 May 2002 and now has more customers than any other UK mobile network.
O2’s UK mobile network covers 99% of the UK’s population. O2’s 3G network covers over 84% of the UK population and is fully HSDPA-enabled, providing speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps for customers with an HSDPA-enabled device.
Worksmart Technology partners with O2 for all its mobility solutions and applications that are provided as part of its managed communications services.
